What you need to know about UCI and your academic career before you come to campus for orientation. You must complete Anteater Zot Start before you can sign-up for the Student Parent Orientation Program.

Orientation Reservations
(available for most students at 9:00am on June 2, 2009*.)

FRESHMAN STUDENTS: All new freshmen are required to attend summer orientation (UCI Summer Bridge and CAMP participants exempted). The Student / Parent Orientation Program (SPOP) is a 2-day event and includes academic advising, class registration, and much more!

TRANSFER STUDENTS: Read about Transfer Success.

*Campus-wide Honors Students, Athletes, and Students registered with the Disabilities Services Center can begin signing up at 9:00am on May 27, 2009.

Placement Testing Signups
(available for most students at 9:00am on June 2, 2009.*)

Get your testing done early! Tests start as early as June and special accommodations can be made to take them in a facility near you! ALL TESTING SHOULD BE COMPLETED BEFORE ATTENDING ORIENTATION.
