Steve has been linked to the Office of the Dean of Students since the late 1980’s. He received his Bachelors degree in Biology from UCI and has since become an essential component to the department’s computer and IT support team. In his role as the Computer & Information Technology Officer, Steve’s duties range from purchasing to networking and even user training. He advises the campus directors on technology-related decisions and manages all aspects of Campus Organizations technology.

Steve feels that UC Irvine is a culturally and intellectually rich environment with many opportunities for growth and development.   “When someone gains a new skill or learns something new as a result of interacting with me, I enjoy knowing that I have helped raised their confidence and ability.” In his spare time, Steve enjoys reading, writing, playing basketball and computer games.
