Nicole Inouye
Program Coordinator, Greek Life and
Program Coordinator, Student Judicial Affairs
Nicole has been a part of the Office of the Dean of Students since March
2007. Her time is split between two areas within the office. In her
position as a Conduct Officer for Student Judicial Affairs, Nicole meets
with students regarding campus policy violations. As a Program Coordinator
for Greek Life, she works closely with the culturally based fraternities
and sororities to develop the Multicultural Greek Council. Nicole
continues to seek opportunities for the organizations to be active and
engaged in the campus community.
Nicole received her Bachelors degree in Social Ecology from the University
of California, Irvine. After graduation, she worked as a Congressional
Fellow for Congresswoman Patsy T. Mink and a staff member for
Congresswoman Juanita Millender-McDonald supporting her in areas such as
the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus and legislative planning
meetings. Nicole also served as a research consultant for Ayers& Associates focusing on the structure of alumni giving programs at
Traditionally White Institutions (TWIs) and Historically Black Colleges
and Universities (HBCUs).
Nicole feels that UC Irvine provides students with many opportunities to
get involved and belong to the campus community. "It is rewarding to see
how a student develops from their experiences and I am thrilled to be a
part of that transition. Conversely, I believe that we can learn a great
deal from the insight of our students." Outside of work, Nicole enjoys
spending time with her family and reading.
